Bonni Dichone

Bonni Dichone has a classical ballet foundation in RAD technique. With extensive training in pointe, ballet, contemporary ballet, and musical jazz (with a little tap, Celtic, and clogging!), as well as ballroom, Latin, and swing, she has performed, taught, and worked with recognized choreographers not only locally, but throughout the States and internationally. Most recently, she was a principal dancer (and sometimes choregraopher) with contemporary ballet company, Graham Ballet Theatre. She additionally was a ballet instructor for the associated school, Graham Ballet Academy.

Local audiences might recognize Bonni from the local musical theatre scene. She has performed with Spokane Children's Theatre, Spokane Theatre, Spokane Theatrical Group, and Spokane Civic Theatre. She also worked eight seasons with the nationally recognized summerstock, Coeur d'Alene Summer Theatre. Favorite credits include 9 to 5: The Musical (Kathy), Mary Poppins (Annie/Chimney Sweep/Kite Girl), Hello Dolly!, Sound of Music, Wizard of Oz (Braggart), R & H Cinderella, Joseph... (Apache Dancer/Wife), A Chorus Line (Connie), King and I (Eliza), Beauty and the Beast, CATS (Exotica), 42nd Street, Chess In Concert, Damn Yankees (Dance Captain), and Peter Pan (Indian/Tiger Lily US).

Bonni also has an extensive background in music, including classical piano, voice, and flute. She has performed, accompanied, taught private lessons, and been a part of both live and session recordings. Most recently, Bonni was the piano accompanist for a sold-out run of A Christmas Cabaret with Mark Cotter at the Coeur d'Alene Resort, featuring Jack Bannon, produced by Ellen Travolta.

A self-proclaimed "geek by day", Bonni holds a PhD in Mathematics and is an Assistant Professor of Mathematics at Gonzaga University. She and her husband, Paulo, are thrilled to have moved back to beautiful Spokane and reside on the Northside.
