We offer a place of creativity and expression with professional training in Dance and the Performing Arts. A place of warmth, grace, and acceptance – one can learn and create in this beautiful space.
Having been a dancer, actor, singer, choreographer, and teacher in the Performing Arts for over 35 years, I wanted to open a studio that allowed me to give wonderful instruction and the passion of what I hold in my heart – The Love of dance and the arts!
Whether you are a beginner, an experienced performer or an aspiring dancer, trying to follow their passion for the art of movement, we have a wide range of classes for you.

We first found AIM when Tamara was recommended to us as the best option in the area for ballet lessons for my daughter, and this has proven to have been
great guidance. When Covid hit, she was offering a full schedule online and my daughter’s studio was not, so she started classes there full time, thru Zoom. My
daughter and I both recognized that the instruction at AIM was far superior to what she had previously, and my daughter has loved the opportunity to take
classes in areas like musical theater and acting, that she did not have before. AIM has a wonderful culture where my daughter feels safe and supported, by
both the faculty and her fellow students. Each student is recognized for their unique talents and has an opportunity to shine. We will continue to make the longer drive, because AIM’s environment and instruction is absolutely worth it.
My daughter started dancing at Artistry In Motion 2.5 years ago. Before that, we spent 7 years at a different studio that was primarily ballet-focused. A friend had
been raving about Artistry In Motion for years, so when my daughter became interested in trying more dance styles, we knew exactly where to go. She took on a full schedule right away, including jazz, contemporary, hip hop, tap, acro, choreography, lyrical, musical theater, and vocal/acting. Most importantly though, she continued taking ballet and the growth she has made as a ballet dancer has been incredible! For a studio that offers all genres of dance and the performing arts, it’s really remarkable that the ballet training is so top-notch. My daughter is also a member of AIM’s competition team. She is thriving and has never been happier! She loves all the opportunities to perform on stage and she really enjoys the camaraderie of the team. The director of Artistry In Motion, Tamara Zink, has done a great job of cultivating a supportive, nurturing, and positive environment, while still motivating everyone to work hard and continually strive to improve. This team and studio have become a family to us. The team members and parents are all very respectful toward one another, and genuinely happy for each other’s success. I believe this is because of the atmosphere and culture that Tamara has created at AIM. She cares about the children and their well-being immensely. We feel very fortunate to have found Artistry In Motion. Not only is my daughter getting exceptional dance training, she is also learning a lot of invaluable life lessons (determination, resilience, integrity, belief in yourself, etc) that will help her succeed in all aspects of life!
My daughters’ have been a part of AIM since the very beginning overs 8 years ago now. It was the best decision we have made for our girls who love to dance and it’s their
home away from home. Tamara has created an environment that is nurturing and focuses on the growth of every child who walks through the doors of her studio. Her
focus on quality of instruction, cultivating individual strengths and teamwork shines through in every routine, performance and show she has produced. I have seen
tremendous growth in technique and artistry year after year not just in our own kids but in all of her students. There is not another studio in Spokane that offers kids a place to grow, learn, and cultivate their love of dance and the performing arts.
